Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all members of S2 Dance Academy. By joining, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Membership & Payments
1.1 All memberships are paid by monthly Direct Debit.
1.2 Fees are annual fees pro-rated and split into 12 equal monthly payments.
1.3 Membership fees are charged 12 months of the year, regardless of school holidays.
1.4 Classes run during school term time only.
Membership Pricing (per dancer)
- 1 class per week: £40 per month
- 2 classes per week: £72 per month
- 3 classes per week: £99 per month
- 4 classes per week: £127 per month
- Additional classes are charged incrementally.
Multi-class discounts are built into the pricing structure above. Fees are not age-dependent and apply equally across all age groups and levels.
2. School Holidays
2.1 Membership fees remain payable during school holidays.
2.2 Holiday camps, workshops, trips, and events are not included in membership fees and are charged separately.
2.3 Members receive priority booking for camps, trips, and special events.
3. Price Increases
3.1 S2 Dance Academy reserves the right to review and increase membership fees annually.
3.2 Any price increase will be communicated with a minimum of one month’s notice.
3.3 Price increases typically take place in April.
4. Cancellations & Notice
4.1 Memberships are ongoing and require one full calendar month’s notice to cancel.
4.2 Notice must be given in writing via email to admin@s2dance.com.
4.3 One full month’s payment must be received after the date notice is given, regardless of attendance.
4.4 Cancellations can be made at any time and are not restricted to term dates.
5. Refunds, Absences & Pauses
5.1 No refunds are given for missed classes, illness, holidays, or changes in personal circumstances.
5.2 If a dancer misses a class, no refund or catch-up class is offered.
5.3 Memberships may be paused for injury or prolonged travel, at the discretion of S2 Dance Academy.
5.4 All pause requests must be made in writing and approved by S2 Dance Academy.
6. Failed Payments
6.1 If a Direct Debit payment fails, two further attempts will be made.
6.2 If payment remains unpaid, a £10 late payment fee will be added.
6.3 Continued non-payment may result in suspension of classes until the account is brought up to date.
7. Trials & Joining
7.1 We offer a 2-week trial for £20, which is non-refundable.
7.2 Trial fees are not deducted from the first month’s membership.
7.3 Once a dancer joins, the minimum commitment is one month.
8. Class Spaces & Capacity
8.1 Class sizes are capped at 20 dancers.
8.2 Places are limited and held exclusively for members.
8.3 Missed classes do not release or transfer a dancer’s space.
9. Behaviour & Conduct
9.1 S2 Dance Academy is a respectful, inclusive environment.
9.2 Bullying, disruptive behaviour, or disrespect towards staff or dancers will not be tolerated.
9.3 Verbal and written warnings may be issued where appropriate.
9.4 If behaviour does not improve, membership may be cancelled with immediate effect and without refund.
9.5 S2 Dance Academy reserves the right to remove a dancer or family whose behaviour goes against S2 values.
10. Classes, Coaches & Venues
10.1 S2 Dance Academy reserves the right to:
- change class times
- change venues
- substitute coaches
These changes do not constitute grounds for refund.
11. Class Cancellations by S2 Dance Academy
11.1 If a class is cancelled by S2 Dance Academy (e.g. coach illness or venue issues), a make-up class will be offered where possible.
11.2 If multiple classes are cancelled, a camp place or alternative session may be offered at our discretion.
11.3 No monetary refunds will be issued.
12. Acceptance of Terms
12.1 By enrolling with S2 Dance Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
